NHS England South West aims to facilitate educational and CPD opportunities so that the maximum numbers of doctors in the South West region can benefit from the courses available.
All the regional study days, educational meetings and best practice events in the South West will be posted on MaxCourse – FDLS. or advertised via Campaign Monitor, along with links for more information and booking (online booking where applicable).

Courses via MaxCourse are free at the point of delivery for SAS doctors in the South West.
SAS doctors are welcome to attend educational events, irrespective of which Trust/ SAS tutor within the region has arranged for them.
SAS doctors who want to be accredited as educational and/ or clinical supervisors can also apply for courses for clinical and educational supervisors arranged by NHS England South West Faculty Development and Learner Support Team.

Professional and Generic Skills Programme is a training programme open to SAS doctors, there are limited places available to SAS applicants The programme is a modular programme delivered across an academic year, for further information on the modules and how to enrol can be found here Professional and Generic Skills Programme
