The Dental Postgraduate Course Section of NHSE South West provides high quality education and training for the development of skills, values and knowledge for ALL members of the dental and oral healthcare team.
This includes lifelong learning opportunities and provides continuing professional development, (CPD) to satisfy GDC requirements.
Dentists, dental care professionals (DCPs), receptionists and managers can find a variety of short CPD courses including dental simulation (hands-on), traditional study days and a comprehensive webinar programme. Many of our courses are open to the whole team but some are focussed on Scope of Practice. Course topics aim to support the needs of the South West population as identified by the South West regions’ Managed Clinical Networks, national priorities as well as topics for your own development according to your personal development plans.
NHSESW CPD courses can be booked through our online booking system.
All courses provided by NHSESW meet the GDC requirements for enhanced CPD and fulfil the GDC professional development outcomes. They are quality assured following the standards for postgraduate dental education framework from COPDEND. While some courses may be supported by external companies NHSESW does not endorse these products.
