The Heads of School for Primary Care in the South West
Helen, Claire and Simon are experienced GPs and GP educationalists. They work together across all the school’s responsibilities to support our faculty of GP educators (ADs and TPDs) clinical and educational supervisors, as well as our GP resident doctors and registrars.
Associate Deans and Training Programme Directors
Our Associate Deans (ADs) and Training Programme Directors (TPDs) are focused on learner support, assessment, educational quality and experience, and patient safety for GP registrars.
Our educational delivery is continuously evolving alongside the curriculum and future healthcare models.
Our TPDs and ADs are involved with delivery and oversight of projects and workstreams to support doctors in training and practice based educators, including induction, half day release education, one-to-one support, small group work, developing educational resources, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion within our training programmes and being an escalation point for both educators and resident doctors/ registrars.
Administrative Support Team
Based in our offices across the Southwest working with our faculty to operationalise and support the Schools objectives.
