ITPs have a GP component and a speciality component (e.g. GP and Palliative Care).
The ITP course is a condensed training for potential supervisors in speciality components of Integrated Training Post (ITPs).
Speciality ITP supervisors need to do the stand-alone CS ITP module if they have not done supervisor training elsewhere (e.g. as existing GP or secondary care clinical supervisors).
This is half a day online.
If you are intending to supervise GP trainees in a GP setting (even if the trainees are undertaking an ITP) then you need to do the MMSC, modules 1,2 and 3a.
If you are already trained as a supervisor there is no need to do anything additional.
